Deze villa staat schuin op een ruime hoekkavel. Het bouwvolume geeft daarmee aan twee straten een luchtige beëindiging.

Bijzonder aan dit huis is de plaatsing op de kavel, de opgaande
lijn van het bouwvolume en de bekleding met smalle houten latten. Het grote raam in de voorgevel volgt de opgaande lijn van
het bouwvolume, maar wordt ook heel handig weer opgenomen in de strikt horizontaal aangebrachte lattenbekleding. Ook de voordeur is mooi ingepast. De kozijnen liggen diep, waardoor
de bouwmassa de hoofdrol blijft spelen in de uitstraling.
Kavelgrootte en bebouwing zijn volledig in harmonie.

Distinctive features of this house are its placing on the plot of land, the rising line of its volume and its cladding of narrow wooden laths. The relation between the built area and the plot size is ideal. The large window in the front facade follows the rising line of the volume but is ingeniously integrated with the strictly horizontal pattern laths. The window frames are deep set,
making the mass of the building visually dominant.
